FOUR Frankfurt

FOUR Frankfurt is a transformative urban development in the heart of Frankfurt, Germany, featuring four high-rise towers reaching up to 233 meters. Designed by UNStudio, the project encompasses residential, office, hotel, and retail spaces, creating a vibrant, mixed-use quarter.​

A key aspect of the project was the development of a comprehensive parametric model that facilitated real-time integration of multidisciplinary inputs. This model allowed for the incorporation of client and consultant data, including unit mix specifications, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) requirements, window-to-wall ratios, and performance design criteria.​

The parametric system enabled rapid iteration and optimization, updating the entire building configuration within seconds to reflect changes in design parameters. This approach provided immediate feedback on spatial layouts, facade performance, and system coordination, enhancing decision-making efficiency and design precision.​

By leveraging computational design methodologies, the project achieved a high level of integration between architectural intent and technical requirements, setting a precedent for future high-rise developments.
