Byblos
Parametric 3D printed jewelry collection inspired by DNA.
DNA is a unique collaboration between NonExamples and the iconic Italian fashion house Byblos. Created for their Fall/Winter 2023 collection, the project centers around the theme of DNA, celebrating individuality and diversity through experimental jewelry design.
Working through NonExamples, we created the design and production of a parametric 3D printed jewelry series, including maxi earrings, mini earrings, and a choker. The project merged digital design with advanced additive manufacturing, using algorithmic processes to explore organic geometries and coded patterns.
Our parametric system allowed the generation of forms that reflect biological structures while maintaining strict performance criteria for wearability and production feasibility. The collection embodies a techno-chic aesthetic, perfectly aligning with Byblos' futuristic and experimental brand vision.
This project represents a broader exploration of how computational design and 3D printing can expand the language of contemporary fashion and accessory creation.
