For derTaler GmbH, I developed a parametric scripting system and interface for a web-based coin configurator. The tool enables users to design personalized coins with laser-engraved images, text, and decorative patterns through a real-time customization interface.

The algorithm handles automatic adjustments based on image resolution, text length, and engraving distance. Users can refine brightness, contrast, and apply techniques like Floyd–Steinberg dithering to optimize visual clarity for engraving. The system adapts dynamically to input and layout constraints, offering both high flexibility and precision.

This project combines computational design and graphical scripting to deliver a scalable customization workflow, bridging user-friendly design tools with precision manufacturing.
