Pushing the Boundaries of Jewelry Through Technology and Customization
I recently shared some insights with ShapeDiver about a project that is particularly close to me: Gemme, a fully customizable jewelry brand I co-founded. The idea behind Gemme grew from a simple realization — that personal expression through jewelry deserved better tools, deeper customization, and a truly digital experience.
By combining parametric design with advanced 3D printing technologies, we aim to create pieces that are not only visually striking but also tailored to each individual. Grasshopper and ShapeDiver allow us to build flexible design systems where customers can easily shape their own jewelry, adjusting size, shape, style, and material.
This project represents an ongoing exploration of how technology can democratize design and make high-quality, personalized products more accessible. In a world where individuality and self-expression matter more than ever, I believe that digital craftsmanship will play a major role in the future of both fashion and design.
